STREISAND à PARIS for once in a lifetime

 

 

 "When the TIMELESS concerts ended in 2000, I honestly couldn't imagine ever doing anything like again. Yet, I also couldn't envision that only six years later, the world we live in would change so dramatically. My motivation for returning to the concert stage is to raise funds for causes that are important to us all. It can easily be summed up in the worlds of the immortal Dolly Levi, "Money is like manure. It's worth a thing unless it's spread about, encouraging young things to growth."

To you, most sincere thanks for your generosity... and, of course, for being there for me... again".

Sauf que... en 47 ans de carrière, Streisand aura chanté pour la seule et unique fois sur scène à Paris hier soir.

Devant une salle comble,  elle était accompagnée d'un orchestre philharmonique de 58 musiciens,  quatre choristes magnifiques  (Michael Arden, Hugh Parano, Peter Lockyer et Sean McDermot) et... un chien.

Les chansons se sont enchainées, plus belles les unes que les autres portées par cette voix inoubliable.

 People... People who need people, are the lukiest people in the world.

 

Ce soir, je pense être lukiest in the world.
